We are excited to announce that volunteer sign-up for Melbourne Jewish Book Week 2026 is now open!
For the MJBW 2026, we will need over 50 volunteers. Below is a description of each volunteer role. Once you find a role that suits you, please use the link to sign-up.
All volunteers must have a valid Working with Children Check card.
All volunteers will be briefed before the festival and given an opportunity to meet other volunteers in a volunteer induction session (Zoom) on Wednesday, July 29 at 7:30 pm.
As a volunteer, you can attend sessions (subject to availability) when not working the shift you have volunteered for. You will just need to show your volunteer nametag.
We look forward to seeing you at MJBW 2026!

You will greet festival attendees, check tickets and direct to rooms. - Green Room Host:
You will make sure food and drinks are available for the guests, ensure room is clean and chat with the guests. - Manage the Hub:
The Hub is where attendees will be “hanging out”. It is also where authors will be selling and signing books. Assist with the signings and keep room tidy.
